The Port of Aveiro handled 21.6% more cargo in February compared to the same period in the previous year, with a total of 457 369 tonnes.
Break bulk cargo increased 99.2% (233 631 tonnes), strongly propelled by the contribution of forest products with a total of 134 995 tonnes (+ 131 346 tonnes than the same period last year).
73 ships also called at the port, registering an increase in size with a growth in GT of 9.3%.
