In order to provide conditions to increase the efficiency of supply chains and enhance the location of logistics and industrial units, the Port of Aveiro has a Logistics and Industrial Activities Zone (ZALI) with a seafront of 1000 meters of docks located in an area adjacent to the Container and Ro-Ro Terminal. The ZALI is a unique port logistics platform in Portugal, as it offers competitive maritime and road-rail connections to international markets, including the possibility for economic operators to use a private dock. It offers lots of land with a total area of 40 ha.
