The month of May was the best month in the history of the Port of Aveiro, having exceeded, for the first time, the threshold of 600,000 tons handled in a month.

This new maximum of 611,359 tonnes resulted from the significant growth in the movement of agri-food products, non-metallic minerals and forestry products, resulting in an increase of 9.31% compared to the best month previously recorded, August 2018.
