The addendum to Neptune Devotion's concession contract was signed for the expansion of the current production unit on embankments under the Port Authority's jurisdiction, in a global investment of 4.6 million euros. This expansion will allow Neptune to build larger vessels, up to 12 metres in height, aimed at the luxury segment. Neptune's planned activity includes providing repair, refit and construction services for pleasure boats and dry dock parking, either covered or in cradles, in the outdoor park.
According to Neptune, with the completion of this investment, the Port of Aveiro will become the largest recreational boat construction cluster in Portugal and the third largest in Iberia.
