A protocol of cooperation was signed on 11th October between the Port of Aveiro, the Port of Figueira da Foz and Mealhada City Council during the seminar "Ports - Leveraging the Regional Economy".
This protocol, approved by the Minister of Infrastructure, João Galamba, aims to promote the implementation of a study to define the logistics platform model in Pampilhosa, as well as its mode of operation, management and managing entity.
Once the logistics platform model has been defined, a study of its operation and management will be carried out and submitted for approval within one year.
The cost of these studies will be shared equally between the three organisations.
In order to monitor the development of the defined object, a monitoring group will be set up, composed of two members from each party.
