The announcement of the launch of the public tender for the 'Project to Improve Maritime Accessibility in the Port of Aveiro' was published yesterday in the Diário da República.
This investment, which is strategic for the development of the Port of Aveiro and included in the National Investment Programme 2030, consists of the preparation of the project to carry out the works to improve the port's navigability and the corresponding Environmental Impact Study, with the aim of accommodating larger ships.
The implementation of this project will make it possible to improve the quality of the services provided in terms of reliability and safety of the access conditions offered, as well as enabling the Port of Aveiro to offer new port services, thus diversifying its business areas and strengthening the port in its hinterland.
This project will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of companies using the Port of Aveiro.
The tender, with a base price of 400,000 euros, has a duration of 210 days. The deadline for submitting bids is 23 September.
