On 18 October, the Port of Aveiro received a technical visit from the Aveiro District Delegation of the Order of Engineers, providing a unique opportunity to analyse the main engineering works carried out in recent years, as well as studies and projects currently underway.
The visit, which included the Liquid Bulk and Solid Bulk Terminals, the Logistics and Industrial Activities Zone (ZALI) and the North Terminal, made it possible to observe the port's growth as a result of the construction of new port infrastructures since the beginning of the second decade of this century.
This visit, in addition to strengthening the collaboration between the Order of Engineers and the Port Authority, represents an important step in the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of best practices in the engineering sector, highlighting the importance of the Port of Aveiro as a strategic point for regional and national development.
