The Port of Aveiro participated in the kick-off meeting of the Climate-Adapt4EOSC project, held in Athens, Greece, on 4 and 5 February.
The project is part of the expanding European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem and aims to advance open science and data-driven innovation to strengthen climate resilience and adaptation efforts.
Over the next four years, Climate-Adapt4EOSC will develop fully interoperable digital services and advanced analytical tools. These will equip researchers, policymakers and stakeholders with cutting-edge solutions for retrieving, processing and analysing data, promoting more effective climate adaptation efforts.
Bringing together 18 partners from nine countries, the project includes researchers from various fields, including climate sciences, environmental sciences, urban planning, information sciences and social sciences.
The project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under Grant Agreement No. 101188248.
