As part of the Aveiro Port Day celebrations on 3 April, we marked another anniversary of the Bar's opening.
The formal session included speeches by Eduardo Feio (Chairman of the Port of Aveiro's Board of Directors), Nuno Pires (Chairman of the Aveiro Port Community), Ribau Esteves (Mayor of Aveiro) and João Campolargo (Mayor of Ílhavo).
Filipa Candeias, from the Hydrographic Institute and author of the book "Ports and Nautical Cartography of Mainland Portugal", gave a talk on ‘The Cartography of the Port of Aveiro’, alongside Ramalho Marreiros, CALM and Director General of the Hydrographic Institute.
