The removal of eight prefabricated houses located near Forte da Barra, in the municipality of Ílhavo, is scheduled to begin next Monday, July 21. The project includes the dismantling of the roofing followed by the demolition of the structures, which cover a total area of 800 square metres. The work is expected to continue until the second week of August.
This intervention is related to the presence of asbestos in the roofs of the houses but is also part of a broader redevelopment plan for Forte da Barra, which includes the installation of new services and the expansion of the tree curtain in Jardim Oudinot.
To ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles during the works, fencing will be installed to delimit the intervention area.
