The dock at Jardim Oudinot, in Gafanha da Nazaré, is undergoing maintenance dredging aimed at improving navigability and safety conditions. The operation began this afternoon and will continue until the end of October, with approximately 5,000 cubic meters of sediment expected to be removed and later deposited in the authorized disposal area off the coast of Costa Nova.
The dredging of the recreational dock at Jardim Oudinot is part of the maintenance dredging project for the Coastal Fishing Port and the entrance to the Port of Aveiro’s Dársena. In total, the dredging operations under this project represent an investment of 1.68 million euros.
