
The new Board of Directors of the Port of Aveiro took office on 2 January 2026 for the 2026–2028 term. Teresa Cardoso assumes the role of Chair, alongside Board Members Rogério Carlos and Valter Rainho.
Regarding the allocation of responsibilities, Teresa Cardoso is responsible for the Finance and Organisational Development Directorate, the Legal Office, the Audit Office, the Business Development Area, the Communications Office and the Strategy Office.
Valter Rainho assumes responsibility for the Directorate of Space and Environmental Management, in the areas of environment and dredging, as well as for the Infrastructure Directorate.
Rogério Carlos, in turn, is responsible for the Port Coordination Directorate and for the Directorate of Space and Environmental Management, with regard to land and property management.
The General Assembly Board and the Statutory Auditor remain unchanged. The Supervisory Board now has the following composition:

Since taking office, the new Board has been carrying out visits to port facilities, fostering direct contact with the various stakeholders that make up the Port of Aveiro ecosystem.
