Since 28 January, the regular Ellerman City Liners container line at the Port of Aveiro has become a weekly line.
This line, which calls at the ports of Cádiz, Setúbal, Aveiro, Teesport, Tilbury and Rotterdam has the capacity to handle up to 800 TEU.
With this reinforcement in maritime connectivity to Northern Europe, the Port of Aveiro demonstrates its capacity to receive this type of cargo, based on short sea shipping, responding to the growing needs of its hinterland markets.
It should be recalled that this regular line began last November with a fortnightly frequency.
