On 21 November, the Port of Aveiro Administration hosted a Norwegian business mission of 22 participants, who were shown the potential of the Ports of Aveiro and Figueira da Foz for economic development in the field of offshore renewable energy. 
The visit to the Port of Aveiro focused on the areas identified for industrial units in the offshore wind sector, including a visit to CSWIND Portugal, an industrial unit for the production of wind towers located in the port area.
This visit, organised by Norwegian Offshore Wind and the Norwegian Embassy in Portugal, demonstrates the sector's growing interest in the Port of Aveiro.
It should be recalled that the Port of Aveiro is one of Portugal's main ports for the handling of components for the wind industry and currently has 3 plots of land totalling 19 hectares to be concessioned for the construction and operation of industrial units in the offshore sector.
