Yesterday, the Port of Aveiro was visited by a delegation from Santos, led by Rogério Santos, Mayor of this Brazilian city, accompanied by Carlos Teixeira Filho, Mayor, Adilson Júnior, Government Councillor, and a group of Service Directors from Santos organisations.
The visit was an opportunity to get to know the Port of Aveiro, focusing on its expansion areas, and to learn more about this port city on the south coast of the State of São Paulo.
The investments planned for the Port of Aveiro in terms of maritime and rail access were also discussed.
The visit was part of another Brazilian export mission to our country, this time made up mainly of representatives from the city of Santos.
In 2022, around 16% of the cargo handled at the Port of Aveiro came from Brazilian ports.
