The Port of Aveiro Authority, together with local authorities, civil protection services and companies, is holding an annual exercise at the Liquid Bulk Terminal today, 25 October, in accordance with its Internal Emergency Plan (IEP).
The exercise is taking place on the premises of the company Cires and is expected to end at 11.30am today. The GNR has closed the port road, temporarily affecting access to the terminals.
Three fire brigades are expected to take part in the exercise.
