The Port of Aveiro took part yesterday in the 9th Business Forum of the Aveiro District, held at the Ovar Arts Centre and dedicated to the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the region.
Speaking on the panel “Internationalising with Value: Investment, Markets and Global Supply Chains”, Teresa Cardoso, Chair of the Boards of Directors of the Ports of Aveiro and Figueira da Foz, addressed the role of logistics, intermodality, sustainability and innovation in strengthening companies’ competitiveness and their connections to international markets.
Her contribution highlighted the importance of the Port of Aveiro as a strategic infrastructure for the regional economy, facilitating companies’ access to global supply chains and creating the conditions for more competitive and sustainable internationalisation.
